10137-124 Street, on the SE corner of 102 Avenue & 124 Street. Cafe de Ville is on the main floor of the three-storey beautiful brick Glenora Inn Bed & Breakfast building, a half block north of central Jasper Avenue, on 124 Street; and ten minutes west from downtown.

Our menu spans the world -- Thai Prawns, Duck Confit, Trôis Tapas, Rack of Lamb, Smoked Salmon, and of course: Alberta beef.  Read all the ingredients on our menu pages.

Prices?
From $7 salads to our full-rack of lamb at $40 and many items in between.  All prices are listed on our menu pages.

Parking?

Across the street to the north is the Mountain Equipment Co-op's large coin-operated parking lot.  There is meter street parking out front on 124 Street Mon-Fri before 3pm; no street parking Mon-Fri 3-6pm; and free street parking after 6pm weekdays and all day Sat & Sun & stat holidays.

Dress code?

No formal dress code.

Smoke-free?
Yes.  Cafe de Ville is completely smoke-free, even on our summer-time outdoor patio.

Desserts?

Our Pastry Chef is constantly creating new desserts, so we do not have a dessert menu.  Your server will bring to your table our sample dessert tray for your eyes to decide.

Wheelchair-accessible?

Yes. All tables and washrooms are on one floor with no steps or stairs -- with level access to the sidewalk on 124 Street.  Please state any mobility concerns when making your reservation so we can prepare the most suitable table for your arrival.

Special diets?
As nearly every item is prepared from scratch, we can cater to most dietary needs:   allergies, celiac, low-cholesterol, vegetarian.  Please state any dietary concern when making your reservation.

Gift Certificates?
In any denomination you desire.  Available by phone (payable by credit card only) at 780-488-9188, or in person by cash, interact, credit card.  If desired, we will mail it to you or to your gift's recipient.

Book a private room?

No, sorry -- our restaurant is just one room.

Large groups?

We do not close the restaurant for private functions.  We accept a few large parties in off-peak hours, depending on availability.

Catering?

No.

Take-out?

Many items are not suitable for take-out,  i.e. baked brie.  Outside of peak hours and with sufficient notice, we can have certain items ready for pickup.

Yes, if:
(1) you agree to pay our $20 corkage fee per bottle, AND
(2) your wine is commercially available, AND
(3) your wine is not homemade wine, AND
(4) your wine is not on our current wine list, AND
(5) your wine is unopened when brought into the restaurant.

Leave with wine?

Yes.  We will recork partially consumed bottles of wine, allowing you to take the remaining wine home with you. This will help ensure the responsible consumption of liquor – no one should feel compelled to finish a bottle of wine at the restaurant or to leave fine wine on the table.  Existing rules for the transportation of liquor still apply; the recorked bottle cannot be within easy access to occupants of the vehicle.  Read more about this on the Alberta Government website by clicking here.

Flowers?

you arrange to have flowers delivered from a florist, we will have them presented on your table before your arrival.  (May we recommend Marlow and Richards , a few doors south of us on 124 Street.)

Special Occasion Cake?

With a minimum of 48 hours advance notice, our Pastry Chefs can prepare your choice of a dessert on the day of your reservation to be presented to your table on your special evening. We also offer cakes for pick-up.  When calling to place your order please ask for Tracy.
